This business privacy statement of BIDEA LAB S.L.U. (hereinafter, the “statement”) is issued on behalf of BIDEA LAB S.L.U. with address at c/ Mejía Lequerica 8, (local) 08028 Barcelona (Spain) “data controller” (individually referred to as “BIDEA LAB S.L.U.” or “we”). This statement is addressed to all those with whom BIDEA LAB S.L.U. interacts, among others, visitors or users of the websites of BIDEA LAB S.L.U., applications (in web or mobile format) or online services (hereinafter, the “online services”), current and potential clients, members of the board of directors and staff of suppliers, corporate clients and staff of BIDEA LAB S.L.U.
In this statement, when we refer to “you”, we are collectively referring to those whose personal data is processed. In the performance of its function as data controller, BIDEA LAB S.L.U.. will process information about you in printed and electronic format, and which we refer to as “personal data”. As of May 25, 2018, the new Data Protection Regulation is applicable. EU Regulation 2016/679 harmonizes the legislation on Data Protection throughout the European Union, increasing the protection of natural persons holding personal data and granting them greater control over it. The data that BIDEA LAB S.L.U. collected by different means (web page, email, electronic or paper forms) within its commercial activity and services, become part of a treatment file of which BIDEA LAB S.L.U. is responsible.
Purposes for which data is collected:
Provision of inspection services: BIDEA LAB S.L.U. registers the data of the companies to which it provides testing services, of the employees that they communicate as contact persons within the client organization for contracting the services of BIDEA LAB S.L.U.
Provision of other services to the Client:
BIDEA LAB S.L.U. registers the data of the new clients who contract services and manages the additional data that may be generated as a result of the commercial relationship with these clients. In the contracting process, the essential data are requested, among which bank payment data must be included. This relationship involves other treatments such as, for example, incorporating the data into the accounts; billing or send information to the tax administration.
BIDEA LAB S.L.U. treats the data of its employees necessary to be able to carry out a correct management of human resources and comply with the administrative, tax and legal obligations that derive from it. Likewise, we collect and safeguard the curriculum vitae sent to us by people interested in working with us and we process personal data in the development of personnel selection processes, in order to analyze the adequacy of the profile of the candidates for the vacant positions or New Creation.
The personal data provided to BIDEA LAB S.L.U. for the provision of a service will be the minimum required to be able to draw up the contract, as well as to be able to offer the contracted services and to comply with legal obligations.
The personal data collected through the web form enabled to request information is intended to send commercial information about our products and services. The processing of the data in this case is legitimized by the express consent that you give us when accepting the sending of the information provided through the form.
We record and process the data of the suppliers from whom we obtain services or goods. These can be data of people who act as self-employed and also data of representatives of legal entities. We obtain the essential data to maintain the commercial relationship. This relationship involves other treatments such as, for example, incorporating the data into the accounts; billing or send information to the tax administration.
Duration of data retention:
The retention time of the data is determined by different factors. Its preservation is mainly affected by the fact that the data is still necessary to meet the purposes for which it was collected in each case. Secondly, they are kept to deal with possible responsibilities for the processing of data by BIDEA LAB S.L.U., and to meet any requirement of public administrations or judicial bodies. Consequently, the data must be kept for the time necessary to preserve its legal or informative value and to prove compliance with legal obligations.
Legitimation of the treatments:

As a general criterion, BIDEA LAB S.L.U.only communicates data in compliance with legal obligations.
In another sense, for certain tasks, BIDEA LAB S.L.U. obtains the services of companies or people who provide us with their experience and specialization, which sometimes have to access personal data. In the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation, it is not strictly a transfer of data but rather a processing order. Services are only contracted from companies that guarantee compliance with this regulation. At the time of contracting, their confidentiality obligations are formalized and their performance is monitored. This may be the case of data hosting services on servers, computer support services or legal, accounting or tax advice.
Rights of data owners:
Any person has the right to know if BIDEA LAB S.L.U. processes their data or not and has the right to access their personal data; request the rectification of inaccurate data; request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; oppose the processing of your data, for reasons related to your particular situation, requesting that they not be processed by BIDEA LAB S.L.U.; withdraw, the consent given, without affecting the legality of the treatment that has been carried out prior to said withdrawal.
When the rights of deletion, opposition, limitation or consent are withdrawn, BIDEA LAB S.L.U. will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims.
The owner of the data may exercise the rights contemplated in Chapter III of the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as the LOPD, by contacting BIDEA LAB S.L.U. by email sent to email@example.com. Whenever the exposed rights are exercised, a copy of the applicant’s ID card or equivalent document that allows their identity to be verified must be attached to the application. Likewise, a claim can be filed with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, through the website www.agpd.es.
Origin of the data:
In most cases, the data comes directly from the interested parties, and we obtain it mainly through the forms prepared for this purpose. We also obtain data in open days, in information sessions, through face-to-face relationships, exchange of business cards and other channels such as receiving emails, our website, telephone calls, subscription to blogs, or through our profiles on social networks.
The data collected by BIDEA LAB S.L.U. They are basically identification data, electronic addresses, commercial information, economic data, data of the users of our website (*). Specially protected data is not processed.
Sending commercial communications:
In accordance with the LSSSI, you can unsubscribe from any of the subscription services, as well as express your opposition to not receiving commercial information, by sending the request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, which must be accompanied by a copy of the DNI of the applicant or equivalent document that allows verification of identity.
BIDEA LAB S.L.U. informs that it applies the necessary security measures to prevent theft, alteration or unauthorized access to data, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of application, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the treatment, as well as risks of variable probability and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons, as well as in the case of subcontracting services, it will demand and ensure that the person in charge of the treatment applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a level of security adequate to the existing risks, as stated in art. 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
